An app to be used in schools to encourage open discussions without hesitation and allow students to be curious of their own bodies and sexualities.

A non-profit organisation that delivers sex education that actually benefits, counsel & provides assistance to the young people of our society.

This is a work-in-progress.
As teenagers are becoming more tech-savvy, they are exposed to unfiltered sex content which poses a high risk of early sexual relations and abuse of pornography.

Singapore’s sex education curriculum is not equipped to address and educate our young people, which makes them vulnerable.

Augmented Reality

Exhibition space at National Design Centre (2015)

The numbers 1314 sounds like一生一世, which means forever in Mandarin.
As part of tradition, we wish our elders longevity and lifelong happiness. However, we tend to get too caught up with our own lives that we forget to spend time with them.

Once seated, the photos comes to life. Visitors get to experience what it is like to watch your own children leave you out of their lives. This exhibit sets out to get the younger generation thinking on how they can improve their relationship with their elders before their time runs out.

The results and the reactions towards our artefact were pleasant and the target audience understood our what we were trying to portray.

Challenges faced were usually during setting up and tearing down, as the items are bulky and distance for projection always changes due to space constraint. A good experience from an elective.

We believe in the story.
We believe in humanising
the art piece instead of objectifying the person.
We believe its both designer and work that makes a mark. We believe in seeing more than just a pretty picture.

A designer’s work is the amalgamation of his experiences; a process, a story, something that goes on behind the scenes. But we see so much less than that.

A piece of work is more than just taking people at face value.
LAYERS is all about uncovering what’s within, to bare the real narrative, because we tend to forget the effort that goes into crafting the final piece.

Each piece is a reflection of the designer with all his quirks and all her thoughts intact, a time capsule of his very soul if you will.
